| "Hot-off-the-strings" Old-Time Fiddle Music from deep in the holler. Pull up a stump and set a spell . . . |
DRM (left to right): Jim Mead (guitar), Jack Toritto (sitting in on bass), Mike Jarboe (fiddle, harmonica, vocals), Julie Duggan (banjo), Sue Mead (fiddle, mandolin, vocals).
Dirt Road Molly is strictly an Old-Time string band (sorry, no country or bluegrass -- ok, except for Tennessee Waltz). We play for wedding receptions, social & community events, reunions, private parties, or for any place or event where some background fiddle tunes might add a little somethin'. It's good ol' fashioned, foot-stompin' music that will get you out of your seat and clogging away -- old-time traditional reels and ballads with a southern "sit-on-the-back-porch" touch.

We've been playing for this event for several years now, and you couldn't find a more enthusiastic and fun-loving group. They're the best!
Sound Samples:
check out banjo lady Julie Duggan's OT Banjo site. There's a nifty recording (Mp3) of our "Sugar Hill /"Growling Old Man, Grumblin' Old Woman" set. Hey, Banjofrailer: nice site!
